The Learning Tree is a privately owned and operated child care facility dedicated to providing quality child care for children from
six weeks to thirteen years of age.
We strive to reflect the high standards set by The National Association for the Education of Young Children and the State of Michigan's Department of Child Day Care Licensing.
Our goal is to provide children an age-appropriate and supportive environment in which they can thrive, as well as a program that parents can trust.
We believe children are unique individuals which is why our programs and curriculum are designed to meet the developmental
needs of each child, encouraging individuality, creativity and
self-confidence.

For over two
decades, The Learning Tree has experienced growth,
not just in terms of physical expansion, but also in terms of programs, experience and reputation. When we opened our doors in 1982, the center served 11 children in three rooms of our original Livonia building, a former Livonia public school.
After four years of operation, The Learning Tree became one of the first 20 child care centers in the United States to be accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood
Programs.
Today, The Learning Tree has expanded to three centers: Two in Livonia and one in South Lyon. |
